Yizheng Tang

I am a Master's student in Electrical Engineering with strong expertise in digital integrated circuit (IC) design, logic implementation, and semiconductor device modeling, supported by hands-on experience in RTL coding, SRAM architecture, and EDA tool simulation. My focus is on designing and optimizing low-power, high-performance digital systems that combine rigorous theoretical analysis with practical engineering validation. During my undergraduate studies, I designed and simulated a 32×8 SRAM with optimized decoders and precharge circuits, achieving functional validation for high-density memory modules, and developed embedded digital systems such as an LC measurement device and a real-time vehicle safety monitoring platform, both of which received provincial-level competition awards. I also conducted semiconductor research on AlGaN-based DUV LEDs, applying band-structure engineering to enhance carrier dynamics, which resulted in a first-author publication in Applied Optics. Beyond technical achievements, I have led project teams and academic workshops, strengthening my ability to coordinate design processes, manage verification workflows, and deliver reliable results under strict timelines. I am currently seeking Summer 2026 internship opportunities as a Digital IC Design Engineer, Verification Engineer, or Hardware Design Engineer, where I can apply my expertise in logic design, simulation, and system-level integration to contribute to next-generation semiconductor innovations.
