YIWEN ZHANG

Hi! I’m Yiwen Zhang, a digital media and communications enthusiast with a strong foundation in sociology and hands-on experience in marketing, fashion, and media. Currently studying Digital Social Media at USC Annenberg (after earning my Sociology degree from UC Irvine), I bridge creativity with strategy to tell stories that resonate across platforms. I thrive in dynamic, people-centered environments. Whether collaborating with luxury fashion houses at Vogue China, launching official brand accounts at AK-Medical, or managing digital content at CentryUU, I’ve learned that effective communication is built on authenticity, adaptability, and curiosity. My experiences span content creation, digital strategy, and cross-cultural branding, and I enjoy building connections with people from all walks of life. Outside of professional work, music is at the heart of who I am. I play multiple instruments, including the Guzheng (Chinese zither), and have performed both on campus and in community events. Singing is another passion. I’ve led live-house performances, mentored young singers, and believe deeply in music’s power to connect and empower people. These creative pursuits not only enrich my personal life but also fuel the collaborative and empathetic energy I bring to my work. Friends and colleagues often describe me as outgoing, approachable, and a natural connector. I enjoy building genuine friendships, sparking conversations, and finding joy in teamwork. Whether on stage, in the classroom, or at work, I’m energized by bringing people together and creating shared experiences. I’m excited to continue growing in the fields of digital media, marketing, and communications.
