Championed the first wave of machine learning (ML) in chemistry projects (2019); proposed and chaired cross-function ML in Chemistry working group; advocated and pioneered the work on the integration of ML on med chem research utilizing internal chemistry data sets. Led the efforts and set strategies on enhancing corporate building block collection accessibility, searchability, and synthesis; Chair of the Strategic Monomer initiative at AbbVie and AbbVie representative on precompetitive BBXC (Building Block Exchange Consortium).
