Dr. Yifan Jian has extensive experience of building complex optical systems with custom hardware and high performance software solution with GPU acceleration. He developed classical and invented wavefront sensorless Adaptive Optics Optical Coherence Tomography for retinal imaging and GPU accelerated real time OCT data processing and volumetric rendering. His main research focus is novel biophotonics applications such as optical coherence tomography and multi-photon microscopy. He is also interested in machine learning and compressive sensing.
