About

I am a PhD student in UCLouvain , Belgium. My expertise is mainly involved in clinical research especially clinical immunology. My research topic is the long term impact of alcohol to alcohol use disorder (AUD) patients gut immune system. I received my bachelor degree of BS Biochemistry from University of North Texas. Shortly after my graduation, I joined master program of biochemistry in University of Oulu in Finland and spent 1 year in KU Leuven, Belgium as a Erasmus student in the faculty of pharmaceutical and pharmacological science where I finished my master thesis, a development of non-clinical method of studying the secretion of medicines in human breast milk, a part of a Europe wide project named concePTION.

This work aims to evaluate changes in the oral and gut microbiota during space missions, with a focus on understanding microbial dynamics in response to the unique environmental conditions of spaceflight. Additionally, crew cortisol levels will be monitored as a biomarker for mission-induced stress, providing insights into the physiological impact of long-duration space travel.
