Report to Executive VP and Provost, and serve as the Chief Academic and Administrative Officer of the College of Computing and Informatics (CCI) (cci.drexel.edu) at Drexel University, a major private R1 research university located in the city of Philadelphia. Responsible for strategic planning, executive management and operations of CCI, one of the leading computing and information science programs in the US with cutting edge academic programs in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Library & Information Science, Health Informatics, and Information Studies at Bachelor's, Master's and Ph.D. levels, and extensive research programs across the broad spectrum of computing and informatics. The College has close to 2,200 students and over 100 faculties and staff, with an annual operating budget of $25 million. Led decisive transformation of the College in only three years, with a new strategic vision and major improvements across key dimensions: from sustained enrollment growth to academic programming, diversity, research and funding, fundraising, and industry partnerships. Secured major university investment and moved the College into a new state-of-the-art facility.

 Report to Vice Chancellor and Provost; and serve as the Chief Academic and Administrative Officer of CCI (http://cci.uncc.edu), one of the seven academic colleges at the University.  Responsible for strategic planning, executive management and operations of the College, one of the largest and most comprehensive computing and informatics education and research programs in the US, and the largest in the State of North Carolina, with over 100 faculty and staff, 1500 undergraduate and close to 900 graduate students, 3 departments, 8 research centers and institutes, 11 degree programs at bachelor’s, Master’s and Ph.D. levels, $15 million sponsored research awards in 2015, and with over $25 million of annual expenditures.

 Responsible for overall strategic planning, budget, executive management and operations of the School with around $10 million budget, 50+ faculty and staff members, 6 research centers & clusters, and 1400 students at BS, MS and Ph.D. levels.  Lead the NSF sponsored multidisciplinary research center with over 40 faculty members, students and professional staff. (http://www.crest.fiu.edu)  Co-founded and co-led the LA Grid international consortium, with members consisting of IBM, Barcelona Supercomputing Center, and 12 universities in US, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Argentina and Spain, for collaborative research, innovation and workforce development.
