Identify and document relevant requirements, deadlines, and funding opportunities for residential EV charger installations. EV Ready Plan and EPR Drafting Develop and maintain EV Ready Plans, detailing electrical capacity, panel upgrades, conduit pathways, and future expansion considerations. Prepare and update EPR (as defined by local regulations or project scope) to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards. Technical Feasibility & Design Assess existing electrical systems to determine upgrades or modifications needed for safe and efficient EV charger installation. Produce detailed design documents, including load calculations, wiring diagrams, and hardware specifications. Permitting & Compliance Coordinate with local authorities to secure electrical permits and ensure adherence to building codes, safety standards, and utility requirements. Maintain thorough documentation for inspections and approvals. Contractor & Stakeholder Coordination Engage licensed electricians, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate the design, procurement, and installation of EV chargers. Collaborate with property management or homeowners’ associations on multi-unit residential projects, addressing shared costs and installation logistics. Project Management & Budget Control Develop project timelines, monitor progress, and manage resources to meet key milestones. Track costs against budget and leverage available incentives or financing solutions to optimize return on investment. Quality Assurance & Safety Oversee on-site installation, ensuring work meets required standards and best practices. Conduct final inspections and commissioning tests, documenting all results for compliance records.
