Yesenia Rodriguez

I'm a multidisciplinary creative and full-time student with experience across the photography, music, and retail industries. I run my own photography business, specializing in authentic, story-driven portraits that reflect my passion for visual storytelling, branding, and creativity. At the University of Illinois Chicago, I’m actively involved in the campus music and events scene. I'm part of UIC Radio, the Spark 2025 planning committee, and the Battle of the Bands committee, where I help organize large-scale events and support emerging artists. These roles have deepened my skills in event planning, teamwork, and music industry engagement. Professionally, I’ve worked in retail, supporting store operations, inventory, and new store launches, as well as in early childhood education as a preschool teacher’s aide, where I developed strong communication, patience, and leadership skills. With a diverse background and a strong drive to learn and create, I’m always seeking new opportunities to collaborate, grow, and bring meaningful ideas to life.
