Data Platform Engineering - Participated in agile development and contributed 40+ new features to a data platform that manages all the A/B testings in the company. - Implemented new web pages and UI components for data visualization and interaction with React and Redux. - Designed data tables in MySQL database to support new features of user-specific data aggregation. - Developed RESTful APIs using Java to serve data extracted from databases in JSON format. - Collaborated to develop a JavaScript library which can add configurable user tracking and performance monitoring to an application using ServiceWorker and ES6+ features. - Plotted highly customized data visualization using D3.js to provide easier and more intuitive experiment management. - Conducted unit tests using Jest and Enzyme to ensure the correctness of code.

- Programmed in Python to do data cleaning, modeling and plotting to draw conclusions from data. - Analyzed the relationship between customer volumes and commercial centers' quality of operation using linear regressions. - Visualized the commercial centers and their properties using dimensionality reduction methods like PCA. - Summarized and presented properties of a region based on population structure, housing conditions and neighboring facilities of all kinds. - Calculated the populations of 402 townships in 4 cities based on the data from the Sixth Census of China.

- Worked on quality assurance and tested functionalities of web applications according to specifications. - Gathered information about other competing products in the market.
