Freelance, Houston-based photographer with a wide range of visual interest and experience. I enjoy the art and have made a business for myself as I capture memories and moments. Duties included the management and tracking of all trials and their conversion to gym member, management of current members and their memberships, distribution/management of all paperwork, checking in all members/trials as they come in to work out, planning and execution of gym events, curating and posting social media content to the gym's Instagram/Facebook accounts, managing the sales of memberships/nutrition/apparel, warmly welcoming individuals into the gym, answering any and all questions about the services and different types of memberships offered at the gym, becoming knowledgable about fitness and workouts to supplement the trainer's services, and working with other team members to stay as current and efficient in providing prime customer satisfaction among members and trials.

Responsibilities included: weekly assignments to be graded in a timely fashion, responding to students through email and in person, acting as a liaison between the professor and the student, responsible for holding weekly office hours, ability to lecture on demand, and maintenance of a mentally healthy student environment.

Duties included being on-call for last minute appointments, the scheduling of clients for their services, the distribution/organization of paperwork, social media marketing management, the creation and sending of ads, providing assistance to the doctor during all procedures, updating/recording all inventory, networking with vendors, and managing the efficiency of the office.

Assisted chief of surgery and his team with kidney transplants and other surgical procedures, traveled and aided physicians with collection of transplant kidneys and livers from eligible donors, partook in daily rounds with all pre and post operation patients, collected data to be utilized for department's research projects on altruistic organ donation.

Participated in progressive pediatric brain cancer therapy research in collaboration with Texas Children's Hospital and the Center for Cell and Gene Therapy, under team led by Dr. Nabil Ahmed M.D., presented findings and contributions of my research team in a final presentation for the entire department, primary responsibilities included: T-cell genetic modification, tumor/t-cell culturing, experimental analysis techniques, and data gathering and analyzation.

An extension of my undergraduate interests, this degree explored my educational passions and allowed me to create a plan for the application of literature in a psychological application (therapy). The program was unique and suited me because it allowed me to discuss the issues of adolescent maladaptive behaviors and how they can be addressed through an unorthodox method of literary therapy. My research and ideas led to the creation of my Capstone project where I wrote the grant proposal for a program that works with juvenile delinquents in the Arizona/Maricopa areas and utilizing a reading program as a vehicle for alternative therapy and behavior/mentality modification.

I attended the University of Houston for my undergraduate education where I earned my main degree in Psychology along with double-minoring in Medicine & Society and Biology. My education was multidisciplinary and addressed my interests in a multitude of fields.
