Senior Software Engineer | Vision Systems & AOI Software Development | C#/.NET I am a senior software engineer at QES Mechatronic Sdn Bhd, a global manufacturer of semiconductor optical inspection, measurement, and automated handling equipment. I take a lead role in driving software development projects from concept to deployment, with hands-on ownership of multiple machine platforms built from scratch. My expertise lies in C#/.NET software development for automated handling and vision-based systems, particularly AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) and OIS (Optical Instrument Inspection) solutions. I have successfully led and delivered new from-scratch machine projects, translating evolving business and customer requirements into reliable, scalable, and high-performance software architectures. Beyond development, I actively collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, Sales/Application, and Service teams, bridging cross-functional gaps to deliver optimized machine functionality and customer-focused solutions. Responsible in maintaining, improving and designing software aspects of semiconductor die bonder machines, mainly in Recognition and Vision features of machine. Designing new machine GUI interfaces and functions according to customer requirement and specification. Assist customer with yield problems and provide support for machine operation and problem solving. In-charge of small scale hardware design (i.e vision cards, PCIe slots, machine vision cameras). Experienced in creating simple programs, software feedback, compiling and creating executing files accordingly. Also able to carry out recognition test and conclude an improvement suggestion. Able to carry out project commissioning tasks at customer site independently and efficiently.
