Yanqing Yang

Executive committee member of Computational Economics under China Computer Federation, Executive Director of China International Finance Society, Executive Vice President of Shanghai Statistical Society. Formerly a renowned media leader and founder of newspaper and various TV programs of Yicai Media Group, she followed China’s macro economy, financial markets, technology innovation and its interconnectedness with the rest of the world. She engineered Yicai Research Institute transforming into a think tank and led various influential research projects. She published extensively both in Chinese and English and currently leads research program focusing on digital economy and AI Economics. She speaks at sessions in prominent global and domestic events, including World Economic Forum, IMF annual meetings, Boao Forum for Asia, China Development Forum, Lujiazui Forum, World AI Conference and many others. She holds a Ph.D, a M.A. and a B.A. in economics of Fudan University, and was a visiting scholar at Johns Hopkins University.
