Major duties performed are: •Responsible for the operations of the local office in Mauritius •Conceptualization, and formation up of offshore (Mauritius and Cyprus) funds involving fund structuring, fund documentation, tax filings and liasing with domestic and international lawyers and investors •Structuring capital inflow and repatriation mechanism to ensure regulatory compliances and optimization of returns •Handling core operational functions for offshore funds – Finance, treasury, Investor Relations, Compliance and finalization of financial statements for all offshore entities •Proficient in PE fund taxation, ensure regular health checks at offshore level to ensure adequate Permanent Establishment as per current tax laws •Review of different investment proposals, and other agreements •Assist the Mauritian, Cyprus and Jersey Administrators on the daily activities of the different companies, including review of minutes/ documents drafted by administrators •Review of financials statements (standalone and consolidated accounts- yearly and quarterly financials) prepared by administrators under IFRS •Acting as support to auditors by overseeing the yearly audit •Liaise and interact with Placement agents empanelled by the clients for KYC queries, Due Diligence requirements as may be required from time to time •Calculate/ Review investors’ performance fees/ management fees •Ensure compliances with the different legislations in the respective jurisdictions •Review of such tax computations of the different entities •Treasury management – i.e meeting with banks and review of such financial products (e.g derivatives) offered by banks to maximise returns on such idle funds •Liaise with bankers, custodians and FII of the Funds, its subsidiaries and Asset Management companies •Preparation of such cash flow forecast/ budget •Attend to regulatory and compliance issues •Acting as director on Fund, Investment Manager and different investment vehicles

Involved in the administration and accounting from set up to day to day running of Category 1 Global Business Company, Category 2 Global Business Company and Trust with an overall portfolio consisting mainly of private equity funds, protected cell company, investment managers, investment advisor and other special purpose vehicles and managing a sub team with reviewing their work. Major duties performed, among others, were as follows: • Filing forms and drafting of relevant application for incorporation of Category 1 Global Business Companies including Closed-End Funds, Investment Managers, Investment Advisors with the Registrar of Companies (“ROC”) and the Financial Services Commission (“FSC”); • Statutory filing with the ROC and FSC in order to ensure compliance with Mauritian legislation; • Attending to all corporate secretarial matters of the client companies; • Preparation / Review of Net Asset Valuation of collective investment schemes; • Liaising with the tax authority for all tax matters of the client companies, including preparation of tax computation, filing of Annual Return and quarterly return; • Drafting agenda and preparing of Board papers for Board meetings; • Taking note of Board meeting and drafting of minutes; • Involved in advice to clients on legal framework, regulations and statutory obligations of different structures; • Handling of subscriptions, redemptions and investor relationship; • Issue of capital call notices and statement of holdings to investors; • Preparation/ review of monthly/ quarterly management accounts and yearly financial statements under IFRS; • Providing accounting and tax advice to clients; • Acting as support to get audit queries sorted out and filing of audited financial statements with the FSC; • Preparing documents in respect of winding up of companies; and • Review of agreements including constitutive documents.
