Dr. Yang Liu is an academic international lawyer. He teaches public international law and its theory in Renmin University of China in Beijing. Yang's research interests include general international law, international legal theory, international law in health, and empirical legal studies. In 2022, Dr. Yang Liu is appointed the Member of Review Committee regarding amendments to the International Health Regulations (2005), by the Director General of WHO. From 2014 to 2015, he clerked at the International Court of Justice. Yang holds law degrees from UCLA, Harvard and Tsinghua University in China.
