Yangho Bae is CEO of BayWa r.e. Korea Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of BayWa r.e., a global leader in renewable energy solutions. He has almost 40 years of experience in the energy and renewable energy industry, spanning engineering, sales, marketing, and business development roles. He joined BayWa r.e. in March 2022 after leading the Renewable Energy Business Department at Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co. (KHNP) for eight years, where he was responsible for developing and operating more than 4GW of renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, fuel cell, and biomass. He also served as the Vice Chair of Industries at The Korean Society for New and Renewable Energy. He received the Republic of Korea President Commendation at the 2018 Korea Energy Awards for his contributions to the renewable energy sector in Korea. As the Managing Director of BayWa r.e. Korea, he oversees the company's operations, strategy, and growth in the Korean market, leveraging his extensive network, expertise, and vision. He is passionate about advancing the transition to a low-carbon economy and providing clean, reliable, and affordable energy solutions to customers and communities. He is also committed to fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the company and the industry.
