Xhi-Whi Liang

At Google, my primary focus is to encourage recruitment amongst young and talented students across universities in Austin. We also place a heavy emphasis on DEI recruitment, providing opportunities in engineering to historically underrepresented minorities.

At Microsoft, my duties included brainstorming, business plan preparation, team formation, direct involvement as well as management of the product development process, marketing, advertisement, and initial performance evaluation for new projects. Notable which I helped launch during my time at Microsoft include Windows 10, Teams, Edge, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and Windows 11.

At Jane Street, I focused on developing new computer libraries for statistical analysis of quantitative market trends. I also heavily focused on computational optimization and maintenance of these libraries, used to facilitate quantitative trades.

I worked at a Samsung Internship program, where I rotated between chip design, driver programming, and testing & validation for the world's first 90nm DRAM.
