• Cooperated with Dr. Wen Zhu to analyze the electron transfer process from reducing system to PQQE in the reaction of cross linking PQQA catalyzed by PQQE and chaperone protein PQQD; Combined Enzyme Kinetics measurements and determined the function and efficiency of PQQE; • Established DCPIP & Cytochrome C enzyme kinetics assays and performed triplicate measurements on individual substrate concentrations (0-1000 μM) to determine Vmax and Km independently; • Practiced and mastered experiment preparation steps such as protein expression, protein purification, HPLC, BradFord Assay, UV-vis, SDS-PAGE Gel, PCR, Glove-Box to isolate proteins; • Incorporated the data into the manuscript to describe the activity of the enzyme and PQQE.
