Innovative Biologics Discovery and Development Responsibilities &Achievements: 1. Hiring, training and building the antibody discovery team who can conduct immunization, gene expression, cell culture, antibody screening, protein purification and in vitro functional assay and in vivo efficacy study. Set up antibody R&D team, completed antibody research and development laboratory building. 2. Hiring, training and build the immune cell therapy R&D team, completed immune cell therapy research and development laboratory building. 3. Identification and validation targets for innovative anti-cancer drug (including small molecular drug, antibody or CAR-T) discovery. 4. Making work plan and organization object to implement innovative drug’s research and development. 5. Overall responsible for study design of small molecular drug screening, tumor cell growth inhibition assay, MOA study and in vivo pharmacological study, the data analysis , drawing the conclusion and making the next plan. 6. Lead the R&D team to generate monoclonal antibodies through hybridoma or phage display screening techniques, immunization, hybridoma fusion, cell culture, high throughput antibody screening using ELISA, FACS assays, in vitro functional assays, in vivo efficacy studies, antibody humanization, resulting in several cell lines of high affinity monoclonal antibody. 7. Overall responsible for the design of CAR construct, plasmid construction, lentivirus package, CAR-T cell preparation, in vitro and in vivo functional and efficacy study.

Project manager of two small molecular drugs Responsibilities &Achievements: 1. Literature research and progress update relevant to this project 2. Manages study timelines, objectives and budgets, ensures accuracy of project progress 3. Designing and managing kinase assays, cell proliferaton assays, MOA and in vivo efficacy studies in support of small molecular drug discovery 4. Analyzes and interprets the data generated during discovery, early and/or full development 5. Summarize the data and present results to the project teams and vice president 6. Communicating with CROs to finalize the protocol, updating the progress, and finishing the report. 7. Responsible for IND filing I have led the project team to identified two potent, orally active small-molecule inhibitor with robust anti-cancer efficacy and anti-diabetetic efficacy respectively. IND files have been finished and will be submitted to NMPA soon.

During my work in Shanghai institute of Materia Medica, my responsbilities including studying on the biomarkers for PARP inhibitor therapies, target identification and validation, novel anti-cancer drug discovery and studying the mechanisms of drug action, establishing anti-cancer drug resistance cell lines and studying drug resistance mechanisms, applying for the grants to support my projects, assisting the principal investigator to guide the students to conduct their projects, and writing the manuscripts for publication.
