● Leading analyst on United States Renal Data System (USRDS) project ➢ Used fixed effect models and survival models to estimate mortality rates and expectancy time for End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) mortality reference table and chapter. ● Leading analyst on the End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Quality Incentive Program (QIP) project. ➢ Worked on Mineral Metabolism, Anemia Management reporting measures, and ICH-CAHPS, Standardized Readmission Ratio, Standardized Transfusion Ratio clinical measures for more than 7,000 dialysis facilities in the U.S. ➢ Generated ESRD QIP Payment Reduction Analysis Report (PRAP) for Centers of Medicare & Medicaid Services to decide budget plan. ➢ Generated the topped-out analysis of ESRD QIP clinical measures to decide the measure structure for the whole QIP system. ➢ Simulated the current data for the Payment Year 2019/2020 CMS rule making. ➢ Used stepwise selection and mixed effect model to look for factors that influence dialysis facilities’ Standardized Hospitalization Ratio. ➢ Contributed to a manuscript, using linear mixed effect model to identify factors that explain variation in estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate, which indicates kidney function. ➢ Used regression discontinuity method to analyze Standardized Mortality/Hospitality Ratio, which indicate improvement of dialysis facilities service. ● SAS programmer ➢ Created SAS macros to replace manually generations of reference tables (the macros are widely used in the company and University of Michigan KECC) and saved hundreds of hour working time. ● Leading analyst on Home Health Value-based Purchase (HHVBP) project
