Serve as the curriculum architect and facilitator for MAED 602: Learning, Curriculum & Program Development, a graduate course designed as a "Collective Ecosystem" for transformative leadership within the Master of Arts in Education: Leadership for Social Justice Specialization program. • Space Design & "Holding Change": Developed a curriculum rooted in emergent strategy (adrienne maree brown), coaching learners to facilitate spaces that are collective, adaptable, and rooted in social justice. • Cultural Intuition & Collective Wisdom: Integrated Delgado Bernal’s framework of cultural intuition to help students bridge personal narratives with established learning theories. • Theory in the Flesh: Facilitate "The Nervous System" of the course—learning objectives that prioritize iterative storytelling (Moraga and Anzaldúa) and critical self-reflection as essential leadership tools.

Instructs for the Master of Arts in International Education Management, an online program, designed for working professionals. Taught IEMG 8506A: International Education Assessment in Fall 2024 and IEMG 8610: Education Abroad Management in Spring 2024. • IEMG 8610: Education Abroad Management was co-designed by Jayna Winn and Thuy Nguyen. Provided practitioner insight through theory-to-practice by incorporating foundational and critical literature and extensive interactions with practitioners and focusing on education abroad areas such as diversity, inclusion and access, program models and development, student advising/learning, risk management strategies, institutional partnership establishment, and pre-departure and reentry programming. Built a curriculum for both asynchronous and synchronous collaborative learning options. Adjusted curriculum to incorporate a more critical perspective on practitioner positionality, student support through identity affirmation, and education abroad marketing efforts addressing consumerism, entitlement, neo-extractivism, white supremacy, and colonialism. • IEMG 8506A International Education Assessment introduces the theory and practice of assessing student learning in international education and emphasizes current trends, methods, and frameworks as students develop and implement assessment plans. Guided students in their assessment plan development through the online learning platform and one-on-one meetings.

• Oversaw a 300+ global member community by sharing resources and opportunities, onboarding new members, managing the renewal process, and developing engagement opportunities through one-on-ones and community events to support members in their commitment to advancing global inclusive excellence. • Led areas of the planning and execution phases of DA’s largest event (conference with 450+ attendees); including facilitating the conference committee, content creation for plenaries and sessions, preparing speakers, panelists and presenters, and developing and designing resources and promotional materials. • Co-developed, coordinated, and led virtual community discussions centered around challenges and opportunities in a fast-changing world and their impact on access, diversity, equity, and inclusion of students, colleagues, and the international education field. • Guided the proposal submission and review processes of the quarterly publication grounded in thematic focuses of "Inclusive Virtual Learning & Professional Development" and "Sustaining Commitment to Inclusive Excellence in Times of Political Challenges to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion". • Managed onboarding facilitators and students for the Global Education Diversity & Inclusion Certificate program. • Supported the survey revision and developed and implemented a collaborative promotional plan to increase survey responses. • Collaborated with other organizations on virtual and in-person events to increase awareness and provide strategic approaches to better support staff and students.

• Led a team of professional staff (Study Abroad Advisors) and student employees and interns working together towards rebuilding and improving global education at Chico State. • Oversaw 200 programs in 40+ countries, which included academic study and internship programs abroad and away. • Member of the Study Abroad Advisory Committee (SAAC), a collaboration comprised of the SAAC Chair, Senate-appointed faculty members, and Risk Management Leadership to revise and develop a systematic and intentional framework for the management of study abroad programs. • Led the planning and execution of study abroad pre and post-programming such as, pre-departure orientation, study abroad fair, scholarship workshops, and study abroad alumni events. • Served as the main point of contact for campus and international partners, and faculty-led study abroad programming. • Supported the International Admissions & Outreach and International Student & Scholar Services units with international exchange students’ application, admission, and enrollment process.

• Re-designed and instructed the International Education (INED) 389 internship course tailored to study abroad returnees and international students as a space to unpack their international education experiences and deepen meaning-making. • Developed curriculum and processes through a student-centered and research-based approach to deepen skills in student support services and international education advocacy. • Grounded the internship course in five pillars: (1) identity development, (2) equity, diversity, and inclusion, (3) leadership, (4) global citizenship, and (5) career readiness to provide tools of reflection, connection, and action. • Led weekly themed workshops where students applied theory to practice through their roles in the International Office. • Coached students throughout their roles, including peer advising, program management, partnership development, and marketing and outreach.

• Served over 300 IRC clients annually and identified specific job opportunities that matched clients’ skills, work experience, related training, and interests while meeting retention outcomes. • Maintained existing employer relationships and established new partnerships by understanding employers’ needs and conducting outreach and labor market research. • Facilitated resume, interview, and employment training workshops for a diverse and multi-lingual group by collaborating with interpreters and volunteers to best serve clients. • Identified early employment barriers and developed solution-driven service plans, such as coordinating hiring events, on-site interviews, and employer presentations. • Led bi-weekly team meetings with the Economic Empowerment team to strategize and improve job placement and employer partnership development.

Supported search projects for organizations at the forefront of social impact—foundations, nonprofits, NGO's and social enterprises, through project management, organizational needs assessment and internal office management. Took on research for search projects and developed marketing material to promote open searches.

Provide project operations assistance to project technical staff and backstop country projects on a regular basis. Assist in the design of the project management workshops, while staying up to date with development projects and programs in Latin America. Identify new project leads and track upcoming potential opportunities and volunteers.
