* Investigated phenotypic responses of a large perennial ryegrass population under drought, cold, salinity and flooding stress * Developed high- throughput, high efficiency exon sequencing method, and and SNP calling pipeline * Performed genome wide SSR markers screening of a global perennial ryegrass population * Modified a statistical model to perform model selection and testing in population level * Performed association mapping analysis on different abiotic stresses * Started perennial ryegrass tissue culture and transformation system in our lab * Designed a sorghum fine mapping strategy for a single weed resistant gene * Published six peer-reviewed papers
