Lead the OEM Automotive Electronic Laboratory: Responsible of electrical & electronic and virtual simulation (Hardware in the Loop) testing activities. Panning, scheduling, coordination and supervision of lab resources. Team management. Improvement of test processes such as collecting, analyzing and reporting activities. Definition of vehicle test plan including timing and resources. Project follow-up (planning, cost, quality). Commercial support for technical offers and activity development. Manage the status of accounts and balances. Update accounting records with new payments. Handle complaints from customers regarding bills. Report finance balance to management.

Lead the Value Analysis Value Engineering (VA/VE) process from technical perspective: Analysis of customer specifications described in RFI / RFQ's or customer assignments. Definition of best-cost functional blocks. Supporting schematics and layout reviews for each development stage. Drive risk assessment for Hardware cost-down activities. Supporting benchmarking of key components together with Hardware experts and Procurement. Analyze competitor solutions from the Hardware perspective. Prepare Hardware functional blocks for cost-optimized RFI and RFQ feedback. Lead the VA/VE process from project management and financial perspective: Lead a cross-functional team (R&D, Purchasing, Logistics, Finance, Process Engineering, Production, Quality) to achieve the introduction of VAVE cost reduction ideas. Lead VA/VE workshops. Act as a Program Manager for (VA/VE). Develops of detailed schedules and project plans. Interface with manufacturing to redesign existing products for more efficient production and material cost reductions, as well as product improvements that add more customer value.

Responsible of hardware design of electronic components for mechatronic and electro-mobility products. Thermal design in order to meet the requirements. Magnetic design in contact less electromechanical systems. Ensure the technical feasibility of the product during the offer and development stages. Technical Project tracking, working as window person with the customers by means of periodical phone conference and live meeting in the suppliers facilities. Electronic components design assuring the correct integration with the software and mechanical departments. Definition of key components and take part in suppliers selection. To take part in the Design and Process FMEA. To take part in the PHA and FTA analysis. Generation of all the Electronic Design document outputs : - Electrical BOM part list. - Schematics , and PCB Layout CAD Design - Manufacturing Standard Doc’s Satisfy all the EMC and Safety Homologations criteria based on the customer standards. Work closely with process engineers in the factory in order to improve the manufacturing process.

Perform all EMC Design activity for assigned projects Perform EMC simulation and signal integrity activities Perform EMC design reviews Coordinate EMC pre-compliance testing in the customer accredited laboratories: APPLUS(Spain) EMITECH(France) TRIPLE C and MIRA (United Kingdom) Provide feedback to the engineering team (Hardware and Software) to meet the EMC requirements. Coordinate EMC compliance testing according to car makers standards (FORD,PSA,FIAT,RENAULT,VW) Perform EMC root cause analysis of designs Assist in troubleshooting at component and vehicle level. Negotiate customer EMC deviations where relevant. Design, develop, implement and verify new EMC pre-compliance test methods.

Electronic circuit design of lighting and home automation products. Printed Circuit Board design using P-CAD as E-CAD tool. To carry out electromagnetic compatibility and electrical safety tests using in house facilities as well as track the CE tests in the accredited laboratories (APPLUS, CETECOM). Write reports of studies, reporting to the team all modifications and changes necessary to improve the performance of the equipment tested.
