As a Management Board Member of Argentex BV, a DNB-licensed Electronic Money Institution, I hold full operational responsibility for the Netherlands and strategic accountability for European growth. I oversee a cross-functional team of 15+ professionals across Finance, Legal, Settlements, Sales Operations, and HR, with ownership of the operational budget. Since joining, I optimised our local settlements process — reducing turnaround times and increasing control by keeping operations closer to the local team. I also led our DORA compliance implementation, ensuring full adherence to the EU's Digital Operational Resilience Act ahead of the regulatory deadline. Alongside the day-to-day, I drive our European growth strategy by identifying and pursuing market expansion opportunities across the continent.

As Chairman of the Management Board of XE Europe BV, a DNB-licensed payment institution, I held full responsibility for XE's Netherlands operations and led European growth across multiple markets — including the successful launch of a new office in Spain. I was commercially accountable for the corporate sales team and product offering across the Netherlands and broader Europe, driving revenue growth in the Netherlands since 2021. Leading a cross-jurisdictional team of 15+ professionals, I was responsible for both the strategic direction and day-to-day operational delivery of the business. I joined XE to build the European business from the start. In this role I established the Netherlands office, secured the PSP license with the Dutch Central Bank (DNB), and recruited the founding team. Serving as Chairman of the Management Board from day one, I was responsible for ensuring the organisation was operationally ready for EU-wide expansion — laying the foundation for the strong growth that followed. Traveling and exploring Malaysia, Cambodia, Myanmar and Indonesia.

Grew into a senior leadership role as VP Business Development, driving revenue growth and establishing the US office in San Francisco from the ground up — including hiring the founding team and overseeing all US operations. Launched four new data products within eight months and initiated three strategic partnerships, one of which resulted in a strategic investment in Newzoo. Newzoo is an international market research company in the gaming industry. Providing clients with key intelligence for long- and short-term strategic decisions.

Employee #1 at Newzoo. Joined at the very start with the founding team of 3 and helped build the company from the ground up into a multi-million dollar enterprise with 50+ employees. Responsible for new business, sales, product, and consultancy — laying the commercial foundation the company scaled on.
