After years in the executive compensation and benefits industry, I became alarmed by how many executives received poor advice from financial planners and advisors. They did not understand the benefits offered by their clients’ employers nor how to leverage them in financial planning. There was a better way to offer unbiased financial guidance designed to build wealth for executives and key employees, not their financial advisors. With a group of like-minded entrepreneurs, I decided to create My Financial Coach. I also wanted to use technology, unbiased advice and design an affordable benefit. And we did.

My passion has always been sales and marketing, I guess ever since I was a youth. I always was top sales person with school, my hockey team, little league and the Boy Scouts etc. When I was 17, I started a semi professional basketball team, called the Imperial Counts, and form a business selling events. I hired sales people to call on businesses to sell tickets and promotions to have our team play against the high school faculty. It was a combination fund raising event, and profit center for me. I also had the good fortune of being part of a YPO/CEO group at the Harvard Business School, attended each year for 28 plus years. I took what I learned, and my life lessons, and wrote two best-selling books, MERGE and MERGE 2.0. I also put eLearning modules together on the website, and help companies when I can. This company is more based on me paying it forward than being a profit center. If I can help, I will.
