As the Chief Architect for Guident I have been engaged and tasked in architecting and implementing successful Business Intelligence(BI) solutions for multiple large organizations, including General Services Administration (GSA), Public Building Service (PBS), Government Printing Office (GPO), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and Fannie Mae. Also, I was a presenter for a “How to deploy a successful migration to BOXIR2” hosted by Guident and Business Objects via a webinar and spoke at the Business Objects Insight conference in Orlando on BOXI Self Service Security. Furthermore, I held and instructed the first successful Business Objects “Boot Camp” training class at Guident. In addition to teaching the first training class, I continue to formally conduct classes as needed for internal employees and external clients.

Responsible for a team of 6 consultants facilitating the design and implementation of Business Objects associated with the Joint Total Asset Visibility application. Tasks included design and implementation assessment, project tracking, universe design, user setup, repository creation and maintenance, server administration, interface customization, report creation, and migration efforts. Due to the high visibility of the application, I performed and executed a Web Ex demonstration of our application to the user base around the globe, and received exuberant reviews from the field and Pentagon. In addition, under a stringent deadline, my team and I delivered a solid representation of pre defined reports available to the user community to include drill down and summary reports (approx. 350 reports), as well as, completed unit and assembly testing for the reports. Finally, I was responsible for the groups IPP and meeting the deliverable deadlines, while successfully meeting each deliverable deadline to keep the application release on target to the users around the world in Oct. 2005.

Group expert in Business Objects development tasked with assessing the current B.O. environment and development of strategic universes to accommodate ad hoc reporting for MBS, loan acquisitions, and loan transactions/servicing. Prior to my joining the CORE team, the IPP for Business Objects reports were 2 months behind schedule, as a team we were able to bring the development to a current status and deliver the final reports ahead of schedule. My efforts in helping CORE with their business intelligence efforts included extensive analysis of source system data to model into a universe structure for ad hoc reporting, creating a web portal customized to Fannie Mae, mentoring colleagues in Business Objects development, presenting demos to business units, upgrading software, creating and documenting CM standards, and canned reporting strategies and development.

Responsible for building and maintaining predictive models using SAS for our mortgage portfolio, identifying where the firm could experience significant risk if interest rates varied. Also, I was responsible for credit analytics for the portfolio monitoring early warnings of defaults, mortgage insurer risk, and loan re-performer risk. In addition, I was tasked with developing a Business Intelligence reporting solution around origination and underwriting for loan delivery.
