Bolt Bio (Nasdaq: BOLT) develops pharmaceutical products that leverage the immune system for a better way to treat cancer. Our lead program BDC-3042 is a Dectin-2 agonist antibody in Phase 1 development for 6 different solid tumors. Our other program is BDC-4182, an immune-stimulating antibody conjugate (ISAC) that targets Claudin 18.2 for gastric and other cancers. We also support collaborations with Genmab and Toray.

Bolt Bio (Nasdaq: BOLT) leverages the innate immune system to develop better ways to treat cancer. During my time at Bolt I have helped to raise a $94M crossover financing, build the finance, accounting, and IT teams from scratch, and raise $265M in our February 2021 IPO.

I served as a member of the Board of Directors for this non-profit. AFBS's mission is to find treatments for Nemaline Myopathy. Nemaline Myopathy is is a genetic neuromuscular disorder that causes patients to have rod-like growths in their muscles that can cause severe muscle weakness. During my tenure we raised more than $4M and funded numerous research projects to better understand the disease and lay the foundation for developing treatments.

I joined Sunesis to head up finance and business development at this public company. At the time, our non-covalent BTK inhibitor vecabrutinib was in Phase 1 development for chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). I worked closely with our interim CEO to create our strategy, fund our operations, and execute on deals such as licensing TAK-580 to Day One Pharmaceuticals.

I started working with Dr. Jed Black in 2011 to lay the groundwork for Midnight Pharma. We licensed a novel compound and are now working with QuatroBio to develop the product for insomnia. I served as a Director on the Board.

I invested in and served as a Director on the Board of Neurogastrx, a private specialty pharma company targeting the enteric nervous system (ENS) to modulate various functions of the gastrointestinal tract. Disorders of the ENS, such as gastroparesis, are common and represent a large unmet medical need. I left the Board after helping the Company successfully raise venture financing.

I co-founded Bullet Bio based on a customizable capsid platform technology invented at Stanford. We raised more than $5M in angel funding and built a high-performing team, Board, and advisory network. Bullet Bio evaluated various antigens and immune stimulants for the treatment of oncology and autoimmune diseases. Our lead program was a personalized idiotype vaccine using CpG (TLR9) for B-cell lymphoma.

I led Corporate Development for Jazz Pharmaceuticals. This included the business development, product licensing, M&A, and strategy functions. In 2009 I also managed investor relations and helped with fundraising.

I helped Jazz Pharmaceuticals build a portfolio of drug products in neurology and psychiatry. We sought to acquire or in-license products that were already on the market or in late-stage development. I did deals with international partners, drug delivery partners, pharmaceutical companies, and contract manufacturers.
