William Mccanna

I am an honest, hard-working individual with excellent communication, teamwork and work ethic. I am comfortable working to deadlines or targets and used to working in high pressure environments. Thanks to my time working with such organisations as BAE System, Ricardo, McLaren and the RAF, I have learned to work in a disciplined and professional manner. I have worked in manufacturing, maintenance, laboratory, and clean room environments and have excellent IT, electronic, science and technical based skills. In addition to these abilities I am currently studying an MSc (Honours) in Space Science and Technology part-time at the Open University. Studying online has led me to be very comfortable self-educating myself and helped me to be able to learn complicated topics quickly without needing guidance. I have studied at the open university with the goal in mind of changing careers to get into the space sector, in particular the small satellite industry. I am also very interested in learning more about electronics.
