As broadcast intern for the team I am working color commentary and play by play coverage of all the home games. I also work in the office making sales calls and going out to different community events to market the team. When not selling, I am writing feature articles and game previews for the team's website. Other media relations work includes interviewing players and overall helping out in all departments to improve the quality of the RiverKings.

I currently work on a blog as well as post radio show material podcasts on YouTube.

I am interning in the communication department of the team. I am constantly updating the web site. I put the game notes together for gamedays. During the game, I am running around taking pictures of the game, uploading them, and adding them to the web site. I also run a program called time on ice, where we get volunteers to record each players' time on ice. I also get print outs of the stats and make copies for the coaches. When there is not a game, I am in contact with the players, and help organize stats and other everyday stuff in the office.

As an intern I sat on the assignment desk making beat calls to the local police and fire companies. I updated stories on the website and stayed up to date on stories the other stations were running. When I was not on the assignment desk, I went out on stories with reporters and helped with camerawork and gathering information. I then would go back to the station with the reporters and learn how to edit video and write scripts for the story.

I also host The Utah Grizzlies Road Show Pregame, Intermission and Post Game Reports as well as our Saturday Night at The Grizzlies Home Pregame Report and interview players and coach throughout the season.

I give people an opportunity to experience Grizzlies games throughout the season with our various ticketing packages. I also work with companies to give them a chance to entertain their respective clients and employees, while building a relationship with their perspective clients.
