Responsible for design control documentation; shipping validation; new equipment commissioning, maintenance, calibration and validation; technology transfer; writing SOP documents and controlling CAD files. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt trained with Zodiak Business Acumen, Cleaning Validation and Computer System Validation training.

Product and process development involving: - Further development of products through design for manufacture - Managing scale-up trials, IOQ and PQ validations - Designing tooling (CAD) - Creating engineering drawings, product specifications, production documentation and work instructions - Liaising regularly with suppliers and customers - Supporting regulatory requirements (ISO 13485)

- Worked closely with the Director to develop numerous concepts and prototypes that had potential to become larger development opportunities. - Managed prototype production - Ran scale-up feasibility trials - Contributed to costing models and hence quotes

Early stage product research and development; providing marketing data evidence and creating innovative in-vitro testing protocols. Culminating in a published article in WOUNDS.

Tasks as an Instructor included leading sessions of up to 9 clients from age 5 upwards for up to 2 hours. Sessions varied from teaching the National Indoor Climbing Achievement Scheme (NICAS) to children aged 7 to 17; structured adult beginner courses to corporate events with up to 27 clients (3 instructors). Other roles as an Instructor were to greet customers at reception, carry out centre maintenance and ensure customer safety. Responsibilities as a Duty Manager were to lead the team of Instructors that shift, organise their schedule and other tasks; being the point of contact for customer issues; cashing up the tills and locking the centre.

2 years serving with the University of Birmingham Air Squadron (UBAS). Commitments involved attending training nights every week during term time and weeklong camps during holiday periods. Training nights were held at RAF Cosford and provided an insight into service life, various topics on RAF deployments and military exercises. On top of this, I gained 5 hours flying experience. Adventure training expeditions were encouraged and organised by Cadets during camps. I was in charge of the equipment and transport for a rock climbing expedition to the Yorkshire Moors for 5 days with 7 other Cadets. During military exercises I was often in charge of a small team of Cadets to achieve given objectives. Other responsibilities involved hosting VIP's during formal dinners and squadron inspections. Upon leaving the squadron, I applied to join as a Pilot and was selected for aptitude testing. I scored 151/180 with the cut-off at 112 and a competitive score being 125. Due to the Strategic Defence and Security Review, recruitment was frozen and my application not progressed.
