I assisted students with finding their books and navigating their blackboard accounts.

I started as a shelver and was promoted to a librarian position. In Reference Services, I staffed the Reference desk, the information desk, the phone line, and the Questionpoint instant messaging service, as well as private consultations with nonprofit grant seekers and students'​ research projects. At these locations, I helped customers with business questions, government document requests, I also worked throughout DPL's 25 branches, performing readers advisory and programming assistance, supervising at branches and and the various departments in the Central library, including the Western History and Genealogy department and Community Technology Center.

I staffed the reference desk, performed readers advisory, performed training sessions with technology, and audited the literary reference collection.
