Komi Aluminium was a major greenfield natural resources and mining project in northwestern Russia, backed by leading global institutional investors. Directed the development of a multi-billion dollar greenfield natural resources and mining project, including its strategy, structure, and financing. Raised equity and debt financing of several hundred million USD for Phase One, working with leading global financial institutions and multilateral partners including the IFC and EBRD. Originated, led, and concluded a major M&A transaction partnering with an industry major at a multi-hundred million USD valuation. Served as Board Director of affiliated group companies.

SUAL (Siberian-Ural Aluminum) was one of the world's largest aluminum producers prior to its merger with RUSAL in 2007. Designed and implemented investment strategies in furtherance of the company's strategic objectives. Led negotiations with strategic and financial investors and creditors, instrumental in all aspects of new deal structuring. Originated and executed a number of innovative investment strategies for shareholders.

Recruited to Salomon Brothers following completion of a highly competitive Summer Associate programme. After the training program, relocated to London, where I led the institution's drive into European emerging markets, structuring and executing the firm's strategy across Russia, Central Europe, and the Middle East. Originated and executed equity and equity-linked transactions. Consistently generated significant revenue. Built lasting relationships with both buy-side and corporate clients. Became one of the youngest Directors at the firm.
