I started by doing research on the PET plastics market to find suppliers, customers, industry development, and to report market changes in pricing and supplier and buyer plant closings/openings. Being fluent in Spanish allowed me to expand potential markets by easily working within the Americas (excluding Brazil). I helped to significantly expand our supply base, customer base, industry knowledge, logistics capabilities, and business development projects.

I studied Spanish for two simple reasons: I love the language, culture, food, and music, and so that I can speak to more great people. By speaking Spanish fluently, it has provided me many great learning experiences I would not have had otherwise. I threw discus my first three years at UCLA. I dedicated ~30 hours a week mastering a very precise body movement. I demonstrated perseverance, diligence, leadership, and self-motivation to push both mental and physical limits. I have priceless experience as a division one athlete that taught me self-control, how to properly relieve stress, improve my lifestyle through diet and exercise while learning the importance of taking care of body and mind. Teamwork improved my communication skills, which are fundamental to be successful in business.
