Hired as CFO in 2009. Led the reorganization of the Canadian finance department and initiated the building of the new U.S. finance department. Additional accountability included U.K business. Directed operational excellence through precise cost rationalization, strategic planning, special projects and financial reporting systems development and management. Appointed to the position of Executive VP, Operations-NA in 2011 at request of Board. Liaised and consulted closely with the Chairman, CEO and US/Canadian Presidents focusing on developing and implementing critical corporate initiatives across the organization including negotiating, closing and integrating strategic acquisitions. Re-assumed CFO position in 2016 to facilitate acquisition by Handicare. Upon completion of acquisition and key integration initiatives, re-assumed role of VP, Operations-NA.

As CFO, core responsibilities included utilizing strong risk analysis, negotiating, and strategic planning expertise through various mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and integration of new management and leadership. Executed multiple Corporate financings while consistently improving operating efficiency, managing lenders, and increasing EBITDA. Direct report for all subsidiaries’ Controllers. Oversaw corporate financial reporting, corporate policies & procedures, working capital and cash flow management, resource allocation and consolidated budgeting.
