* Oversaw renaissance of Newark’s downtown, jumpstarting construction of new state-of-the art Prudential Center sports and entertainment complex as well as revitalization of surrounding areas. Completed 5 critical projects and drove non-profit Newark Housing Authority’s redevelopment agent to generate revenues for the City of Newark. * Directed all aspects of $375M Prudential Center construction project, including land acquisition. * Spearheaded $55M Circulation Project (pedestrian and vehicular traffic). * Negotiated and closed $500M land swap deal, enabling NJ Devils to secure $200M in private financing. * Acquired land and completed construction of NJ Devils Championship plaza, (50,000sf outdoor retail space). * Championed $74M in public infrastructure improvements in 24-acre, downtown redevelopment area.

Charged with originating, underwriting, structuring, negotiating, and closing multifamily housing equity investments for national tax syndicator, totaling +$600M in equity transactions per year. Integral member of acquisitions team, working closely with development partners, navigating projects through federal subsidy process, and constructing new financing. Closed 5 transactions resulting in investment of $77M in NEF tax credit equity over a 15-month period. Conducted comprehensive due diligence and prepared detailed bids for 18 potential acquisition targets. Completed in-house underwriting training focused on Low-Income Housing Tax Credit and New Markets Tax Credit Programs.

Built and led federally funded, charitable arm of credit union movement. Supported 50 credit unions in 19 states in affordable mortgage lending, consumer financial services, and homeownership. Equipped credit union leadership with strategic advice. Focused on building program revenues and opportunities for financial cooperatives active in low-to-moderate income communities. Identified and secured $5m federal funding to supplement and expand NCUF’s programs focused on affordable housing, financial literacy and wealth building. Devised strategic business plans in concert with local, mainstream credit unions focused on affordable mortgage lending and strategic partnerships with community development financial institutions. Drafted and presented business plan, enabling mortgage lending to previously excluded communities. Crafted credit union driven public/private partnerships designed to increase private capital investment in low-income and moderate income communities.
