My responsibilities included: canvassing, generating new leads, following up with customers, drawing up and proposing contracts to prospects, sales logs, telemarketing, and sales calls. I also delivered materials to workers on job sites.

My responsibilities at Kumite Classic included marketing and promotions of events and expositions, particularly the Pittsburgh Fitness Expo. My day to day duties included: sales calls with vendors and customers (both current and past), e-mail correspondence with potential customers, telemarketing, social networking pages being created and utilized, following up with leads, obtaining new prospects through attending events, work in Microsoft excel and access, and occasionally attending large conferences.

As a student at WCCC, I obtained a solid GPA (3.44 overall, 3.65 in major) and quality education. During my time at the college, I gained real world insight and managed to get networking contacts. Also, I took advantage of an internship opportunity and enjoyed the experience. Gaining experience with teams/ organizations/ sponsors in the area (as well as throughout the country) of my interest was truly beneficial.

Seton Hill has provided me with a valuable experience as a sales ambassador with the Pittsburgh Pirates, opportunities to work with IMG and Landmark Events Services for future Steelers game, and experience with merchandising/ atmospherics for Seton Hill games. Also, it has provided exciting and stimulating courses.
