* Interfaces with external customers to maintain ideal work relationship leading to customer satisfaction. * Provides periodic report to immediate superior on the status and progress of the tasks/ projects taking into account issues and action resolutions. * Analyzes existing work procedures for efficiency and effectiveness. Designs and implements revised methods for continuous improvement. * Using technical knowledge and experience on products and existing work processes, reviews, approves drawings/ design/ plans to assure adherence to specifications and standards. * Performs engineering evaluations on cost saving alternatives and function as the group’s adviser for the department’s Continuous Improvement team. * Supports study/ research/ benchmark best practices towards product improvement. * Plans for the work group’s short and long term program activities.
