William Guzman

As a first-generation American and the first in my family to attend college, I’m driven by the opportunity to build a legacy through education, hard work, and curiosity. I’m currently pursuing a B.S. in Finance at San José State University, where I’ve developed a strong foundation in valuation, financial modeling, and strategic decision-making. I serve as an Equity Analyst for the Spartan Fund, focusing on the Healthcare sector, where I use multiple valuation techniques — including DCF, comparable company, and ratio analysis — to recommend buy, sell, or hold positions within our portfolio. Beyond investments, I’m a Founding Board Member of the Spartan Real Estate Association, helping connect students with professionals across commercial, residential, and investment real estate. I also stay active in the Banking and Investment Association. I’m passionate about learning, teamwork, and continuous growth. My strengths include Excel modeling, valuation analysis, and interpersonal communication, which I apply both in academic settings and professional collaborations.
