Certified trainer, champion natural bodybuilder, and Epic Fitness Solutions owner William Dinwiddie calls his gym The Facility. That's a good name for it; it reflects William's no-frills approach fitness, a philosophy that helped him win the Oregon's Strongest Man title in 2011. At The Facility, students will find none of the distracting amenities of modern gyms, such as juice bars and flat-screen TVs. Instead, they'll find weights, floor space, and an assortment of objects to lift, jump over, and hang from. And yet, for all of The Facility's grit, William has designed his boot camps and fitness classes for people of all fitness levels, not just elite athletes. In addition to learning how to do fundamental strength-training exercises like squats and deadlifts, students receive advice about proper nutrition and supplements in order to help them maximize their results and live a more healthful life both in and out of the gym.
