Senior Solutions Architect
Barueri, SP
As a Software Architect, I led the development of innovative solutions for IT resellers in Brazil's intermediary market for hardware and software sales. My responsibilities included designing project architectures, mapping complex scenarios, selecting the best-fit technologies, ensuring code quality, and integrating data from diverse sources. My technical expertise spans a wide range of technologies, including Python, R, C#, ASP.NET, Java, Spring Boot, Android Studio, and mobile development, as well as Dynamics CRM, SQL, and NoSQL databases. With a strong foundation in design patterns, SOA, client-server, and distributed systems, I created dynamic and scalable solutions. My communication and presentation skills were essential in aligning teams and fostering a collaborative environment. I also delivered training, developed educational materials, and implemented methodologies like project-based learning and flipped classrooms, with a focus on Software Architecture, Software Quality, Programming with C#, Java, Spring Boot, and Mobile Development using Android Studio, and databases such as SQL Server. These efforts were instrumental in reducing technical debt while promoting effective and practical learning within the team.

Associate Professor
Alphaville
As a professor in the Systems Analysis and Development program, I teach courses on Special Topics and Object-Oriented Programming, focusing on Java and mobile development. I have designed the curriculum, developed comprehensive instructional materials, and created all necessary resources to support the program's success. My teaching approach is centered on preparing students for real-world challenges in the software industry. I adopt a holistic integration of topics, simulating real-world projects to strengthen students' skills in information gathering and prototyping. I actively promote collaboration and encourage the exchange of ideas among students to foster a culture of mutual learning. To enhance engagement, I incorporate gamification techniques, such as Kahoot, making the learning experience both dynamic and enjoyable. I also emphasize peer mentoring, enabling students to take on mentorship roles under my guidance. This not only nurtures leadership skills but also fosters a supportive learning environment. In the second semester of 2024, I taught Object-Oriented Programming to 3rd and 4th-semester ADS students in both morning and evening classes.

Senior Software Architect
Ingram Micro Brasil
Throughout my career, I have developed technical expertise, communication skills, flexibility, adaptability, and leadership abilities. Below are key projects I contributed to: Project: Tax Engine Designed a flexible, plug-and-play architecture to address Brazil's complex and changing tax regulations. The solution enabled rapid adaptation to new tax scenarios for purchasing and sales, optimizing tax advantages based on product characteristics. Project: EDI Dell Computers Implemented Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) between Dell Computers and Ingram Micro Brazil. Automated processes from purchase orders to invoicing via .edi files, including real-time customer notifications. Defined the architecture and provided development team support. Key Contributions: Established software development standards in an organization lacking defined processes. Delivered training sessions using project-based learning and hands-on workshops on Software Architecture, Design Patterns, Python, C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server. Reduced technical debt by improving team skills and code quality through practical learning initiatives. These projects enhanced my ability to lead teams, solve complex problems, and deliver efficient, scalable solutions.

Senior Programmer
One of the key projects I was involved in was the development of a Business Intelligence (BI) system for the pharmaceutical company Pfizer. The main goal was to provide daily insights to field sales representatives about competitor penetration in specific regions. One of the major challenges was handling large volumes of data combined with limited internet connectivity in certain areas of the country. In this project, I acted as the Solution Architect and Development Team Lead. My responsibilities included designing a robust data download framework capable of resuming interrupted transfers and creating the front-end interface used by the field sales team. The main technologies used were C#, Windows Forms, BITS, XML, and SQL Server. Through this project, I applied my technical expertise in software development, led a multidisciplinary team, and delivered a solution tailored to Pfizer’s operational needs.

Microsoft Dynamics Consultant
I was responsible for various activities, including defining the architecture for Microsoft CRM and developing integrations with legacy systems. I also contributed to the development of an Opportunity Portal based on Microsoft CRM. During these projects, I worked with technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, Web Services, Microsoft CRM, and SQL Server. My responsibilities included requirements analysis, designing customized solutions, and ensuring data integrity and system performance. I worked closely with development teams, providing technical guidance and supervising the implementation of the solutions.

Microsoft Dynamics Consultant
São Paulo Area, Brazil
I was responsible for architecture definition on the AGF Seguros project, working closely with the consulting team to gather requirements and develop solutions that maximized the potential of the Dynamics CRM platform. During this project, I produced technical documentation and developed CRM-focused products for the company. Highlights include the ITIL-based Service Desk Portal, the SCUA-to-Microsoft CRM Connector, and the SMS-to-Microsoft CRM Connector. I worked with technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, and JavaScript, integrating them with Microsoft CRM. Additionally, I developed reports using Reporting Services, optimizing CRM usage and supporting developers who had no prior experience with the platform. I also conducted training sessions, preparing instructional materials, creating practical examples, and delivering hands-on Dynamics CRM workshops for various companies across Brazil.

Astroinformatics, Big Data for Solar Physics, Distributed Systems, Data-Driven Science
Research Areas: Astroinformatics, Scientific Data Infrastructure, Big Data for Solar Physics, Distributed Systems, Asynchronous Pipelines, Cloud Storage, Data Interoperability (VO), Event Detection, NoSQL Databases. Project focused on building a distributed architecture for ingesting, processing, storing, and publishing large-scale solar time series data. The system handles billions of data points using MongoDB sharding, Docker microservices, and asynchronous pipelines, all running on institutional infrastructure without HPC. To address budget constraints, the solution uses local caching and a staged export pipeline: files are generated, indexed with metadata, and synchronized to Cloud using structured paths and VO compliant formats. Multi-resolution access and event detection are supported. Performance evaluations include throughput, latency, compression, and scalability across standalone and sharded environments. www.macksun.org Funded by CAPES and Mackenzie Presbyterian Univ.
