Resource nurse in what grew to be a 34 bed unit. Duties included bedside resource for nursing, co-ordinator for C-Port patients (coming in from the field having a MI). My responsibility was to call in the cath lab, and facilitate the patient flow throught the cath lab to our CCU or transfer to another facility for further intervention. Bed control, responded to house codes for approximately 5 years, staffing, including schedule for the night shift. I also held the position of Critical Care Educator for 4 months, and have been a Rapid Response nurse when that position was held by the Resource Nurses in ICU. I have also filled in as house supervisor at Cobb.

Staff RN 8 bed general ICU. Frequent STAT nurse (prn). Stat RN serves as house supervisor/rapid response RN. Provide excellent nursing care of patients in multi-system organ failure, including sepsis, respiratory - full cardiac arrest - ventilator (including oscillator), bipap and trach patients. Serve as a unit trainer for CRRT, balloon pump, sheath pulling and hypothermia therapy. Proficient in computer skills and served as a super user in HED and MED RX. Served for a short time (4 months) as Clinical Coordinator for the ED.
