Being an educator is the career of my dreams. I began my career in Education as a Teaching Assistant with Houston ISD and then went on to become a long term Sub with Aldine ISD. Working with a wide range of students and being challenged to be innovative, creative and bold gave me the needed motivation to become a full time teacher. Harmony School of Fine Arts and Technology is where I began my journey as a full time English Teacher, in 2014. I taught 7th grade for 3 years.I became the Head of the department in my second year. I was nominated Middle School Teacher of the year 2016 and now serve as a District Professional Learning Community Leader. In addition, I have served as the Cheerleading coach for the past 3 years, the campus Positive Behavior Team Lead for the past 2 years and an active member of our District Leadership Team for the past year.
