Experienced optical engineer and engineering manager with over 10 years of experience in imaging and camera design. My work on camera development has spanned the range of sensors optimized for specific computer vision applications to some of the highest volume premium smartphone cameras for excellent photography and video. As the head of the camera and sensing team at Snap, I lead a multi-disciplinary team responsible for all cameras and optical sensing technologies in Snap's consumer augmented reality glasses, Spectacles. In my current role, I oversee the entire development cycle of camera and sensing hardware, from technology incubation to production. I collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as software, product, and manufacturing, to deliver optimized cameras and sensors to enable world-class augmented reality experiences.
