Weston Carnival

Weston-super-Mare Carnival is the largest annual event in the town and one of the biggest illuminated carnivals in the UK, attracting tens of thousands of spectators and forming part of the historic Somerset Carnival circuit. Powered entirely by volunteers, the event showcases extraordinary illuminated carnival carts, walking entries and performers, celebrating the creativity, engineering and community spirit that make Somerset carnivals world-famous. Beyond the parade itself, Weston Carnival has developed a powerful and rapidly growing digital presence, generating hundreds of thousands of monthly social media views and aiming to reach and interact with more than 8 million people online each year through expanded media coverage, video content and storytelling. The Weston Carnival Souvenir Programme, one of the largest produced locally, provides businesses with a valuable opportunity to reach thousands of residents and visitors, while sponsorship and partnership opportunities allow brands to connect directly with a highly engaged audience. With strong community support, significant regional visibility and growing national interest, Weston-super-Mare Carnival continues to expand its reach both on the ground and online.
