I advise clients in complex real estate and construction disputes including issues about restrictive covenants, easements, statutory building schemes, leases, builders liens, strata law, collapsing purchases and sales, condominium pre-sale disputes and real estate agents’ and property managers’ negligence. My clients include developers, strata corporations, real estate agents, property managers, contractors,, subcontractors, suppliers, vendors and purchasers in a variety of real estate and construction disputes. I also represent clients before regulatory bodies such as the Real Estate Council of BC. I teach, write, and speak for and before members of organizations such as the British Columbia Real Estate Association, Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia, the Condominium Home Owners’ Association, and others in the real estate and construction industries. Prior to joining Hakemi & Ridgedale LLP, I was the Associate Chair of the Commercial Litigation and Real Estate Practice Groups of a large downtown Vancouver law firm.
