Direct and lead the distribution activities of sales goods, yarn, and Re-Entry products. Coordinate the receiving, warehousing, and shipping activities. Supervise team members in areas of Inventory Management, Transportation, Maintenance, and Security. Coordinate daily activities of maintenance technicians, utility clerks, and forklift drivers. Provide point of contact between T-Mobile NRC and onsite security officers. Organize and coordinate all issues regarding facility maintenance and building/process improvements. Serve as point of contact by working closely with contractors and vendors on completing facility improvement projects. Provide leadership to team mates by coaching to improve on opportunities and build on strengths. Organize and carry out Safety Training for all 240 team members employed at the NRC. Train and certify forklift drivers and other warehouse personnel in the safe operation of forklifts, boom lifts, and electric pallet jacks. Work as a Process Improvement Engineer to complete time studies in order to create work performance standards and perform standard maintenance as needed for Individual Productivity Metrics initiative. Partner with KSA consulting firm and Quality & Process Improvement to set standards for new work areas and processes as well as maintain/update standards in existing work areas as the business needs change.

Manage the flow, storage, and shipment of aluminum alloy wheels for the luxury SUV and car markets. Complete daily shipments to support the production of BMW, Mercedes Benz, Jaguar, Volvo, Volkswagen, General Motors, Nissan, Honda and Chrysler. Create Bills of Lading and Commercial Invoices as well as load trucks for outgoing shipments within the United States and abroad. Unload and receive incoming deliveries of material through the use of the AS400 computerized inventory system. Supervise forklift drivers and other warehouse personnel.

Successfully launched second shift operation of Quarter Panel Assembly in the Interiors Department of a Tier 1 supplier to Mercedes Benz. Maintain daily output of eight assembly lines to support the production of Mercedes Benz M-Class, R-Class, and GL-Class vehicles. Monitor performance of assembly lines and make sure that the customer is covered with no issues. Set production goals for team, and work with them on their opportunities and strengths. Meet safety requirements and continuously monitor quality, productivity, and efficiency. Conduct meetings to inform team of daily quality issues and goals. Train new hires and cross train teams to cover all lines assigned. In this fast-paced and high pressure environment I learned how to efficiently manage a constant flow of high quality, state-of-the-art components to a world renowned manufacturer of luxury vehicles.
