Environment Artist Intern, 2K Shanghai June 2023 – August 2023 Contributed to the development of the NBA 2K25 mobile game by designing and texturing community environment assets. Gained proficiency in using the company’s proprietary engine, shader systems, and asset management tools. Planned and modeled city roads and buildings based on real-world data, optimizing resource usage and enhancing asset reusability. Created and refined a complete set of city asset models and PBR textures using Maya, Photoshop, and Substance Designer. Assisted in the creation of jersey and tattoo textures for NBA 2K Online. Developed textures using Photoshop and Maya workflows, utilizing blend layers and alpha channels for hand-painted detail. Produced four full sets of NBA team jersey textures and designed five tattoo concept art pieces, subsequently turning them into finished in-game assets.
