Thesis: ‘HDACi-induced DNA damage: Identifying potential endpoints for Safety Assessment’ Used genome-wide analysis to identify the mechanisms by which epigenome modifying drugs, such as histone deacetylase inhibitors (HDACi’s), can induce damage at the genomic level, with implications for Genetox safety assessment. • BBSRC and GSK CASE award funded project. • Used ChIP-on-chip to measure genome-wide changes in chromatin-associated events in response to drug treatment. • Analysed large datasets using the statistical language R.
