Worked independently and as a part of a dynamic team to deliver formatted Humabody® (variable heavy chain antibodies) for expression and purification. • Established Next-Generation Sequencing platform (Illumina) to sample amplicon and naive mRNA libraries for antibody discovery and optimisation • Golden Gate and Gibson cloning (formatting) of Humabodies® (VH domain antibodies) • Humabody® sequence optimisation and germline/liability correction • Antibody sequence analysis and design using CLC Main Workbench and Oligo • Design and cloning of optimisation libraries for selection in Phage and Yeast • In-format Yeast Display selection of Humabodies® using FACS • High-throughput mammalian expression of formatted Humabodies®

Thesis: ‘HDACi-induced DNA damage: Identifying potential endpoints for Safety Assessment’ Used genome-wide analysis to identify the mechanisms by which epigenome modifying drugs, such as histone deacetylase inhibitors (HDACi’s), can induce damage at the genomic level, with implications for Genetox safety assessment. • BBSRC and GSK CASE award funded project. • Used ChIP-on-chip to measure genome-wide changes in chromatin-associated events in response to drug treatment. • Analysed large datasets using the statistical language R.
