Purchasing Role comprises of : Product Sourcing, both UK sourced and International Product Sales Forecasting Supply Chain Implementation Negotiation of Supply Contracts and Price Structures Detailed Costing Analysis Production Planning BOM Creation and Maintenance Logistics Supplier Development Works Manager roles comprises: Responsible for all aspects of the Factory Assembly, Manufacturing, Repairs & Warehousing functions Responsible for all aspects of Health & Safety within the Factory Responsible for creating & implementing plans for the control of planned output, budget spending, material efficiency, engineering effectiveness, and human resources; Supervising and managing all direct & indirect factory employees Responsible for all Disciplinary & Employment issues with direct & indirect reports Creation & implementation of Procedures to ensure company meets it’s goals for on time delivery, customer satisfaction & waste Work Flow Improvements to drive efficiencies in terms of space utilisation and manning Active involvement in Cost Reduction & Continuous Improvement programs Stock Issues Responsible (with Financial Controller) for organising & auditing Stocktakes Responsible for dealing with day to day issues & any stock discrepancies Responsible for ensuring traceability for Rework orders etc Responsible for ensuring warehouse is well organised & stock is stored securely and safely Site facilities management. Preventative maintenance programmes for maximum equipment up time. Regular reporting to the General Manager Assistance in Other Quality & Technical matters as required by MD
