I build AI that lives at the edge. Fast, efficient, and independent of the cloud.As a Karsh International Scholar at Duke (ECE/CS), I have spent the last three years obsessing over the hardware-software interface: the place where architecture decisions determine whether an intelligent system is practical or not. That obsession is taking me to Rice University this fall, where I will pursue my PhD focused on edge intelligence and high-performance computing.My work spans both research and industry. At NetApp, I built GenAI-driven agentic systems that generated $3M+ in operational savings. At 3D Systems and Nomad, I designed data pipelines and distributed systems from scratch. In my own lab, I build projects like AnnoGrid and Jaci to push the boundaries of what lightweight, hardware-aware AI can do.Outside the lab, I lead. As VP of HackBrazil 2026, I help connect Brazilian tech talent to world-class opportunities, continuing work I started as VP of AI4GOOD 2025 at Harvard and MIT.I am always open to research collaborations, speaking engagements, and conversations about the future of edge AI. In 2018, I was admitted to the technical program of computing at the Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology of Brasília due to my competitive and huge academic profile, so I have joined the student community as a prominent leader with dedication. Throughout high school, I engaged in a variety of activities and actively contributed to the betterment of my community. In all of my school years, I ranked in the top 1% of students in my class and among all the high schoolers, taking on leadership positions and earning many awards in Knowledge Olympics at regional, national, and international levels. In addition, I took office as the representative of my class during all three years of high school, headed social claims with peers, among others. My experience at the Federal Institute of Brasília pushed me to strive for a better environment for students, as well as taught me values such as innovation, creativity, personal development, and discipline.

Social Entrepreneurship
I was selected to participate in the Watson Institute's Fall 2021 Semiannual Accelerator program, focused on social entrepreneurship. This highly competitive program had a 2% acceptance rate and I was one of only 20 students chosen to be part of the cohort. During the 4-month program, I had the opportunity to work with a diverse group of inventors, leaders, and entrepreneurs from around the world to tackle complex problems and develop impactful ventures. The program included training, mentorship, and a supportive community to help me accelerate my project and achieve my goals. In addition to participating in the Transformative Entrepreneurship and Transformative Action tracks, I also had the opportunity to engage with the Watson Laboratory and explore for-profit ventures. Overall, the Watson Semester Accelerator was a unique and valuable experience that helped me grow as an entrepreneur and make a positive impact in the world.

Quantum Computing
As a student in The Coding School's Introduction to Quantum Computing course, I had the opportunity to delve into the exciting field of quantum computing and gain a strong understanding of the theoretical and practical functionality of superconducting quantum computers. Over the course of 8 months, I developed strong math skills in subjects such as Linear Algebra and Calculus 1, as well as gained proficiency in quantum computing programming using Qiskit and the IBM Quantum simulation environment. Partnered with IBM Quantum and taught by researchers at MIT and Oxford, this highly competitive course accepted just 5,000 students out of 200,000 applicants globally. The course is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and approved by the University of California A-G as a college preparatory course. I am now confident in my ability to be a future leader in the quantum computing industry and excited to continue exploring this rapidly advancing technology.
