To manage and implement sourcing and procurement processes and procedures to acquire goods and services in terms of commodities, services and capital infrastructure in a most effective and efficient manner that delivers measurable & sustainable value to Eskom. Applies expertise to ensure that operational procurement's best practice is implemented within area of influence. Championing compliance to Risk, Governance and Monitoring Procures is maintained.

Provide commercial leadership in the commodity team that is responsible for the development and implementation of commodity strategies and other initiatives in delivering the procurement savings target. Responsible for ensuring the continuity of supply of the right quality of commodities and services at competitive prices and at minimal contractual risk.

Duties include: Responsible for the management of Opex and Capex project as per the Annual Procurement Plan. Promoting and maintaining Stakeholder relationships (Internal (BU’s) and External). Develop and maintain Category Demand Plans that will meet purchasing customer service goals, corporate profit goals and return on equity goals 1. Manage development of contracts 2. Tendering process administration 3.Establish, manage and maintain Contract Management and Administration 4. Stakeholder Management 5. Performance Monitoring and Reporting 6. Compliance to policies, procedures and standards for risk management

Responsible for the procurement of goods and service, IT equipment, Broadcasting studio sand building maintenance projects, Finance functions and independent contractor admin supervision.
